Earthvision International Environmental Film Festival,
Airing in Santa Cruz, California, March 3rd, through 8th,

has selected one of the Broadcast Segments from the Series
Produced and Created by Tamara Lynn Scott,
for airing at the Rio Del Mar Theatre
on March 6th at 3 p.m.

Segment 281 , Focuses on Sustainability - Act Locally,
and is a documentary on the Santa Cruz Organization of California Grey Bears.
a group of volunteers where senior citizens have organized to help and assist in providing food to more than 2700 local seniors through efforts in recycling, gleaning fields, and volunteering.

Three segments were selected for the festival this year.

Information on the (3) segments follows:

Segment 281 California Grey Bears

How do we change our world?
Participate!
Act locally.
I created this segment to begin the process of fully
utilizing our food resources and recycling our useful
goods, a prototype organization which has begun
here in Santa Cruz, and which can be duplicated in
every city and town across the nation, and greater
world.

I have created it to give away to the public and it is
permanently stored at the Internet Archive for all to
have access to its inspiration, and its ideas.

Each of us has the power to change our worlds.
It always starts within ourself.

Act Locally!

Change Your World!

Segment 287 From the Ground Up Creating Passive Solar heated, radiant tube, cement slab flooring, is one of several segments on the project, currently underway on a mountain top in the Santa Cruz Mountains, which is the set for the series:

"From The Ground Up"
creating energy self-reliant,
environmentally friendly,
homes, systems, and gardens.

And the Third Segment chosen: " Great Artists of the World" John James Audubon, visits the John James Audubon Museum in Henderson, Kentucky, dedicated to the artist, his life, and his works. Audubon is known as one of the first and foremost naturalistic artists who drew lifelike illustrations of the wildlife of the Americas.
