A Way in a Manger
Poems of the Soul:
A Way In A Manger
Heaven is within us,
And its Peace is our prayer,
Of a Wisdom unspoken,
Of a Love meant to share,
Our Living is the mission,
That will bring us to where
We are part of the spoken,
We are part of the care.
When our lives all are mended,
When we come to where
We remember, unbroken,
We remember, the clear.
Of times light and golden,
Celebration to share,
In Hope of the lasting,
In Light of our prayer,
The Oneness that's within us,
Is The kingdom we share,
And the child of new vision,
Is Forever,
Of Here.
The Temple Lights Within Us,
And the Key is to Share.
The Hope is now Spoken,
All will find each one here.
A way into a new day,
is a child born to light,
A knowing,
A hungerance,
A reach of insight.
A way in every poor place,
Every child's eye to see,
the new birth within us,
the child born of We.
A new world,
a new nation,
Is the Love We abide,
Forever wakes within us,
Heart ever cries.
A way into this new day,
an answering why,
A way through this living,
new birth,
new eye.
The Light that lies within you,
through darkness,
Heart and Mind.
The journey is to find you,
the star,
the rhyme.
A Dream that's ever waking,
is the Gift each must give,
the Being,
the Wisdom,
the Doing,
the Live.
Every Child here awaking,
Every Child, Every Life,
Finds a way
New Day,
New Heart,
New Life.
The telling of our stories,
is the tell of our lives,
the heart,
the spoken
the kingdom
the find.
A way in
to new day,
this great beating heart,
of all
the beginnings,
the be now,
the start.
All in one love,
All in one glove,
All in one come to Be,
Every soul in the finding
Every whole,
Every seed.
A way in to a new world,
is a new change of mind,
teachings
learnings,
child we must find.
We here in the watching,
We in the wait,
Beginning without ending,
paths we all make.
A Way in to a new mind,
light of the night,
ever that finds us,
new heart of why.
Beginning to awaken,
Beginning to find,
Light that's born within Us,
New Heart.
New Mind.
The Way In.
The Light.

From the Ground Up
continues to prepare for the upcoming
cement pour for the Octagonal, passive solar
heated, radiant tube slab which will be
finished off in recycled pieces of black
marble and granite.
In anticipation of excess cement, body
formed molds have been painted and laid out
ready to receive. No cement will thusly be
wasted.
All excess pieces of rebar and wire will be inset into the forms when being poured.
Metal scraps from mattresses, bedframes, and other recycled metals are being incorporated into the sculptures.
In addition, recycled styrofoam bits may be added into the cement mixture to lighten the forms.
These sculptural forms were created in the sister series,
"Artists of Santa Cruz",
and will take their places in the gardens surrounding,
and may be embedded in walls, frescos,
and other cement and stone architectural details.

Recycled Marble
is being utilized in the Marble Mosaic laid out for incorporation into the Passive Solar Heated, Radiant Tube Cement Slab being scheduled for pouring and creation on the next segment filming for the series.
Black marble was selected out of a large collection of pieces because of its dark reflective qualities, and ability to retain heat.
While the cement pour is occurring, sculptural forms will also be created with the excess cement.
These forms were created in earlier segments with the Artists of Santa Cruz series, showing plaster casting and creation of ceramic artwork.
The casts were painted to assist with holding their shape, and for surface prep to receive the cement.
Sand casting may also be demonstrated for a few small basins.
